The Palawan Sangguniang Panlalawigan has passed a resolution urging the executive to provide financial asistance to local Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in the province affected by the pandemic.

The resolution urges the PEEDO to provide enough ‘capital’ or stimulus program so that small business owners could get back on their feet.

Maminta said that MSMEs should be empowered through loans, thus serving as their capital.

“For the purpose of empowering our local entrepreneurs, and with a common goal of building an active business sector and enhance local market competitiveness amidst the ongoing pandemic, our local entrepreneurs should be provided assistance through loans, thus serving as their capital…”, BM Maminta said in his resolution.
