Di lang dorm! VP Robredo provides ferry service to frontline workers in Cebu
After opening up dormitories that could serve as halfway houses for frontline workers, Vice President Leni Robredo is now providing free ferry services.
In a Facebook post, Robredo said the free ferry service will be available to health workers, patients, and other frontliners traveling from Olango Island to Lapu-Lapu City and vice versa.
The project is administered by the Office of the Vice President and its partners.
It will first hold a dry run, and her office welcomes suggestions on how it could be improved, especially its schedule, she said.
“Starting tomorrow, July 9, the OVP and its partners will also offer a free ferry service for health workers, other frontliners, and patients, from Olango Island to mainland Lapu-Lapu City, and vice versa.
This is still a dry run. We are open to suggestions, specially with regards to the schedule posted below,” Robredo posted.
