One of them is a retired elementary school teacher who may have contracted the disease when she went to Manila to get a hearing aid for her son,
The other is a mother with a young family.
Lusitro said the women were grateful for the support of the barangay and pther people during their time of anxiety.
Let’s all treat our COVID 19 patients better!
“A special visit from two courageous women– Mrs. Purificacion Buatis and Mrs. Rochelle Buatis Cas. Both survivors of Covid-19. Tiya Puring is a retired elementary school teacher. She went to Manila to get a hearing aid for her son Freddie. She may have been exposed to the virus during the short stay in Manila. She was Tabaco’s first positive case. Rochelle and her young family endured the discrimination and hostility of people who were in fear of the virus but is very grateful for the support of the barangay and of those who supported them in their time of great anxiety. In God we trust. We shall overcome Covid-19, together. ❤️,” Luistro posted.
