Occidental Mindoro Rep. Josephine Ramirez Sato had some good news to share when she posted an update about Sablayan native Ginebe Rabalo, who had been in distress in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

In a Facebook post, Sato said her coordination with the Department of Foreign Affairs helped secure Rabalo from her abusive employer, and she is now under the care of the Philippine embassy.

Sato thanked DFA Secretary Teddy Boy Locsin, Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Adnan Alonto and other staff for acting on the matter even amid the COVID 19 health crisis.

Rabalo’s papers are now being processed so that she could go home to her loved ones.

When government officials cooperate, Filipinos benefit!

“Good News!
