Oriental Mindoro Board Member Mikan Leachon says first Libreng Sakay trip a success
Oriental Mindoro had taken steps to bring home its stranded residents, and Board Member Mikan Leachon was happy that the first day of the project went off with ease.
In a Facebook post, Leachon described the first day of the Libre Sakay, Balik Probinsya a success.
The stranded individuals were brought to a fully air-conditioned bus and had schedules for boarding so that they would not crowd the terminal.
Physical distancing was observed and they and their items were disinfected.
Their boat fares were also free.
This is one safe and easy journey!
