No COVID-19 case reported in Albay for 7 seven consecutive days

The Albay Capitol announced that for seven consecutive days, no coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) case has been recorded in the province.

As of yesterday night, Albay only has 14 active COVID-19 cases.

“Bicol#42, a 39-year old health worker from Daraga, Albay yielded her 1st negative swab via RT-PCR. Said patient is clinically recovered and for facility quarantine for 14 days and repeat swab thereafter,” said the Capitol

“The number of CONFIRMED CURRENT positive cases now is down to fourteen (14) while recovered patients are now at thirty-six (36),” it added.

COVID-19 caused three fatalities in Albay. The province has a total of 53 total recorded COVID-19 cases.

Meanwhile, COVID-19 cases in Bicol Region remain at 68 as of yesterday, May 22.
