Good shepherds! Tabaco Mayor Krisel Lagman Luistro thanks church officials for welcoming evacuees
Residents of Tabaco who needed to evacuate from the coming storm have found sanctuary in the parishes of the city and in the St. Gregory the Great Minor Seminary.
Tabaco Mayor Krisel Lagman Luistro was grateful for their offer of help and thanked them and Bishop Bong Baylon for their gesture.
In a Facebook post, Luistro said the house of God protected the evacuees from the storm.
She will never forget their act of kindness, she added.
They are doing the work of God!
“Thank you Bishop Bong Baylon, the parishes of Tabaco City and the administrators of the St. Gregory the Great Minor Seminary for offering to house the evacuees of the city. The house of God protected our evacuees from the strong winds and rain. Your act of kindness will be remembered. Thank you,” Luistro posted.
