Mayor Legacion issues guidelines on who may be allowed ingress, egress of the quarantine area

Naga City Mayor Nelson Legacion has issued a community briefer regarding the persons who will be allowed to leave the quarantine area.

The said briefer was made upon consultation with the Heads of the IMT Security and Medical Task Forces and upon approval of Mayor Legacion.

The following shall be allowed to continue giving necessary services to the public and may be allowed ingress and egress of the quarantine area:

1. Those with medical emergencies;

2. Medical health workers such as doctors and nurses working in hospitals within the city upon presentation of their PRC and medical institution issued Identification Card.

3. Law enforcement, emergency and incident management responders but shall be limited to members of the Naga City Police Office, Bureau of Fire Protection, Public Safety Office and Incident Management Team General and Command Staff only.

4. All barangay officials and personnel currently within the quarantine area shall be allowed unhampered movement within the quarantine area.

However, persons who were directed by the City Health Officer to undergo the 14-day strict home quarantine shall not be covered by this new order.
