Instead of thanking elected officials, Brooke’s Point Mayor Maryjean Feliciano wants the people to direct their gratitude to the local government unit personnel and he volunteers who are leading the fight against COVID 19.

In a Facebook post, Feliciano said the funds being spent for the fight are public funds, so the people should direct their gratitude to the people on the ground who are taking action against the disease.

They are the ones laboring 24/7 to repack and distribute relief goods, she said.

She also said the people should thank the lord, as he is the one that deserves all the praise and thanksgiving.

We are alive because of him!

Above all, sa Kataas taasang DIYOS po natin ibigay ang ating Pasasalamat, HE alone deserves all praise and thanksgiving, because everything that we have comes from HIM and we are healthy and alive because of HIM.GOD bless!” Feliciano posted.
