More help for frontline workers! VP Leni Robredo opens new dorms for workers

0

Vice President Leni Robredo is happy that she can continue to help the frontline workers who are laboring to keep COVID 19 at bay and to keep people fed and secure.

In a Facebook post, Robredo said she was opening more dormitories where the frontline workers could stay for free.

These two are located along Roxas Boulevard in Manila, near the Manila Doctors Hospital and PGH.

The other is in Sampaloc, Manila, near the Mary Chiles Hospital, Ospital ng Sampaloc, Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center, UST Hospital, and Perpetual Succor Hospital.

Robredo said the dormitories were not just for health workers, but also for other essential personnel like security guards, and other volunteers involved in anti-COVID 19 programs.

Social distancing is observed in the dorms, and beds would be available on a first come, first served basis, she added.

Help is here!

“GOOD NEWS!!

We’re opening two more dormitories where our frontliners can stay for free.

Both dorms are in partnership with our Angat Buhay partners.

Dorm 3 is located along Roxas Blvd, near Manila Doctors Hospital and PGH. Dorm 4 is located in the Sampaloc area, near Mary Chiles Hospital, Ospital ng Sampaloc, Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center, UST Hospital, and Perpetual Succor Hospital.

Our dorms are open not just to health workers and medical practitioners but also to other frontliners like security guards, and other volunteers involved in anti-COVID-19 programs.

Because of limited space and because we strictly follow social distancing measures, we will accept applicants on a first come, first served basis.
