Mercedes Councilor Charlie Villamarzo seeks DILG help for border issue

0 371

Local governments have imposed their own border controls amid the enhanced community quarantine over Luzon to prevent the spread of COVID 19.

But this has caused some confusion, and Mercedes Councilor Charlie Villamarzo is seeking the help of the Department of Interior and Local Government to address the issue.

In a Facebook post, Villamarzo asked for the contact number of the DILG provincial director.

This is because Daet has imposed a regulation that only those with a health pass could enter Daet.

He said this was not coordinated with other towns that were unable to issue health passes to its people.

A higher up is needed to mediate!

“Anyone, contact number ni DILG provincial director? We need to settle the issue happening now at the borders of Daet, we need to clarify the Lockdown being implemented by Daet LGU of requiring certain “health pass” to all entering daet. Wala po itong coordination at paabiso sa mga taga Ibang bayan para nakapag handa at nakapag issue ng nasabing pass sa mga tao. Paki usap,” Villamarzo posted.
