Albay VG Lagman undergoes self quarantine
Albay Vice Governor Edcel Grex Lagman has undergone a 14-day mandatory self quarantine pursuant to as executive order issued by Governor Al Franchis Bichara.
Lagman also urged everyone who traveled outside Region V to go self quarantine to contain coronavirus disease 2019.
“Sunod po tayo lahat sa Executive Order No. 7, series of 2020 ni Gov Al Francis Bichara. Huwag matigas ang ulo. This is the price we all have to pay because of this national health emergency. At ang rewards nitong preventive health measure na ‘to ay para naman sa kapakanan ng lahat ng Albayano,” the Vice Governor said.
Lagman said that he arrived yesterday from an official travel outside Bicol Region.
“As per aaid EO, ALL residents of Albay who have traveled outside the region and have returned on or after March 12 have to undergo a mandatory 14-day self-quarantine,” said Lagman.
“The same being the law, i happily complied. Ako lang ako. In the pink of health, as usual. At kasama ko naman sa 14-day self-quarantine ko si “Ms. Albay” (see painting),” he said.
However, the said self quarantine will not stop Lagman from fulfilling his duties as public official.
“Will introduce amendments to the SPA’s Internal Rules of Procedure so that i can still preside over sessions and all other board members who are also in self-quarantine can attend the same via “Virtual Sessions”,” he said,
