DICT’s free WiFi program launched in Palawan
The ceremonial lighting of free WiFi courtesy of Department of Information Communications and Technology (DICT) was held in Palawan.
The Ceremonial Lighting of the Free WI-FI for All – Free Public Internet Access Program Sites in the Province of Palawan was made possible through the partnership of DICT and Palawan Capitol led by Governor Jose Ch Alvarez and Puerto Princesa Mayor Lucilo Bayron.
It was held at the Ramon V. Mitra Sports Complex.
The ceremonial lighting was also simultaneously held in Isabela, Lanao del Sur, Davao City and Albay.
“Dumalo sa aktibidad sina Atty. Joshua U. Bolusa, Provincial Administrator bilang kinatawan ni Gob. Jose Ch. Alvarez, City Mayor Lucilo R. Bayron, UNDP Deputy Resident Representative Enrico Gaveglia at Cheryl Ortega, Director ng DICT Luzon Cluster 3,” the province said.
“Kaugnay nito, nakiisa rin ang mga estudyante ng Palawan National School, Sta. Monica NHS, Puerto Princesa City Science High School, criminology students mula sa Western Philippines University at iba’t-ibang mga ahensiya ng Pamahalaang Panlungsod,” it added.
