The emergence of the novel coronavirus is putting a dent on some Valentine’s Day plans.

Albay Rep. Fernando Cabredo announced on Facebook that Fernando Gonzalez had canceled the concern scheduled by the city of Ligao on February 14.

The city had sought to cancel the concert to avoid gathering a large crowd where nCoV could spread.

This is in line with the provincial government’s precautionary measures to stop the spread of the virus.

But the Ligao City Bambusetum still has its Valentine-inspired decor and would remain open to receive visitors.

So couples could still enjoy the day of hearts there; they should just make sure it won’t be a crowd!

CANCELLATION of Valentine’s Day Concert on Feb. 14, 2020.

The City Government of Ligao has requested the sponsor of the Valentine’s Day Concert in Ligao City Bambusetum to defer the Concert on February 14 to avoid the gathering of large crowd.This is in conformity with the Provincial Government’s precautionary measures against Novel Corona Virus.

Nonetheless the Valentine’s Celebration Inspired Decorated

Ligao City Bambusetum shall be open to receive visitors every day as follows:

Open at 6am

Closing time at 10pm

Feb. 13th 14th and 15th Closing time is in the midnight,” Cabredo posted.
