Save the earth, say no to single-use plastic, says Oriental Mindoro Board Member Juday Servando
Oriental Mindoro Board Member Juday Servando is waging a war against what she considers the environment’s enemy number one: single-use plastics.
In a Facebook post, Servando said these single use plastics tend to be discarded haphazardly and wind up in the ocean.
They make up majority of the garbage in the water which harms marine life, she said.
Our little choices to patronize these single use plastics add up, and removing them from our lives would lead to a big change.
This is why she is calling on everybody to help heal the environment by reducing, reusing, and recycling.
It’s time to cut plastic out of our lives!
“Single-use plastics, still the environment’s number one enemy. Every year, thousands of tons of garbage winds up in the oceans with 60% of that being made of plastic which are hazardous to marine life.
All the little choices add up to a big change. Let’s help heal the environment. REUSE.RECYCLE.REDUCE. #NoToSingleUsePlastic #LetsEndPlasticPollution
Maraming salamat sa mainit na pagtanggap sa K5, Bulalacaonons. 💕,” Servando posted.
