Occidental Mindoro steps up measures vs 2019 n-CoV
Occidental Mindoro Governor Eduardo Gadiano has ordered the ranking Capitol executives to draw up measures against the dreaded 2019 novel coronavirus.
Executive Secretary Ryan Gadiano Sioson and the officials of the Provincial Health Office met recently to discuss the precautionary measures to be put up against the 2019 n-CoV.
Teresa Tan. at Dr. Reynaldo Ferratero hinggil sa preparasyon ng ating lalawigan kontra Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCov),” the Office of the Governor said.
Meanwhile, the Provincial Local Health Board Meeting will be held today to be led by Governor Gadiano himself.
Two cases of 2019 n-CoV have been confirmed in the country. One of them, a 44-year-old Chinese national died last February due to the said virus.
It was the first death due to the novel coronavirus outside China to be ever recorded.
“Mag-ingat po tayong lahat at panatilihing malakas ang ating mga pangangatawan,” the Office of the governor noted.
