VP Robredo brings financial aid to Siruma, Camarines Sur
Vice President Leni Robredo has been preoccupied lately with bringing aid and relief to people in need.
This time, the Vice President paid a visit to the residents of Siruma, Camarines Sur to provide help to their livelihood.
“Ngayong hapon, dumayo si VP Leni Robredo sa baybaying munisipalidad ng Siruma, Camarines Sur, isang Geographically Isolated and DisadvantagedArea (GIDA), para magbigay ng tulong pinansyal sa kanilang LGU,” the Office of the Vice President said.
“Gagamitin ito para bumili ng sampung fiberglass motorized boats, 3,000 na crab traps, at sampung gill nets para sa Samahan ng Maliliit na Mangingisda ng Matandang Siruma at Samahan ng Maliliit na Mangingisda ng Vito,” it added.
The OVP said that by helping the livelihood of the people thrive, their lives will improve and be uplifted.
“Sa ganitong paraan, masusuportahan natin ang ating mga kababayan na makapaghanapbuhay nang marangal upang maabot nila ang kanilang mga pangarap at maiahon ang kanilang pamilya mula sa kahirapan,” said the OVP.
