Been there, done that! Albay Vice Gov. Grex Lagman offers prayers for Taal refugees
As a Bicolano, Albay Vice Gov. Grex Lagman knows what it feels to deal with a volcanic eruption.
This is because his province is home to the Mayon Volcano, which is majestic but also active.
In a Facebook post, Lagman said he feels for his Batangueno brothers and sisters now coping with Taal’s eruption.
He asked them to take care and called for prayers for their safety.
He also wished that the alert level would go down.
If Albay could survive Mayon’s eruption, Batangas, too, could get through Taal’s tantrum!
“To my Batangueño brothers and sisters, please take a lot of care. May bulkan din kase sa Albay. Kaya na-experience ko na po ang ganitong mga pangyayari. Sana bumaba na po ang Alert Level 4. Para huwag na umabot sa Alert Level 5.
Dasal po tayong lahat para sa kaligtasan ng lahat.
#TaalVolcanicActivity,” Lagman posted.
