Tulong! Camarines Sur Rep. Gabriel Bordado Jr. calls for more assistance for Tisoy victims
Camarines Sur Rep. Gabriel Bordado Jr. has taken to the plenary to call for help for Bicol residents still reeling from the effects of typhoon Tisoy.
In a Facebook post, Bordado said he delivered a privilege speech on Monday urging all entities and individuals to help typhoon victims in Bicol and in other parts of the country.
He also sought the release of the P700 million Electric Cooperative and Resiliency Fund to help cooperatives fix damaged infrastructure and restore service.
The areas that Tisoy tore through need all the help they could get!
“ASSISTANCE FOR TYPHOON VICTIMS: I just delivered a privilege speech
urging all entities and individuals to extend assistance to the typhoon victims in Bicol and other areas of the country. I also called for the immediate release of P700 million representing the Electric Cooperative and Resiliency Fund (ECERF) as mandated by Republic Act 11039 which ‘aims to assist electric cooperatives affected by natural disasters to restore and rehabilitate damaged infrastructure,’” Bordado posted.
