Gov. Bichara places Albay under Code White Alert Status as Typhoon Tisoy enters PAR


Albay Governor Al Francis Bichara placed the province under Code White Alert as Typhoon Tisoy makes his presence felt in Bicol Region.

Typhoon Tisoy has already entered Philippine Area of Responsibility today Bicol Region prepares for its landfall.

“In anticipation of any untoward incidents and emergency that may arise relative to Typhoon Tisoy, CODE WHITE ALERT is hereby raised today until there is no longer threat to the province of Albay,” Bichara’s order read.

“Under Code White Alert, health personnel are hereby placed on an on-call status for immediate mobilization to respond to any emergency situation,” it added.

Bichara also asked health personnel across Albay to stay “vigilant” and report untoward incidents to the provincial government.

“All Municipal/District Hospitals, Provincial Hospital, Rural and City Health Units and Albay Provincial Health Office HEMS personnel are hereby enjoined to be vigilant and send flash reports of any untoward incidents related to Typhoon Tisoy to the Provincial Health Office thru text message or e-mail,” said Bichara.
