Guinobatan Mayor Ann Gemma Ongjoco warns vs scam

0 248

Guinobatan Mayor Ann Gemma Ongjoco has taken to Facebook to warn her constituents of a scam being perpetrated by unscrupulous persons using the logo of the local government.

According to Ongjoco, these persons used the logo of the municipality of Guinobatan for solicitation for the group Cool Squad Dance Krew, in connection with a dance contest.

But she said the Guinobatan government was not connected to the group and neither has it endorsed it and allowed anybody to use the town’s logo.

The event coordinator has no connection with Guinobatan as well, she added.

Solicitation attempts using the name of the local government should be reported, she said.

Don’t be scammed!
