Palawan Gov. Alvarez provides financial aid to 80 barangays
Palawan Governor Jose Ch. Alvarez has provided financial aid amounting to P100,000 to 80 barangays in the province.
The distribution is part of the Aid to Barangay Livelihood Program. The said activity was held last November 7 at the Citystate Asturias Hotel.
The funds will be intended for the purchase of livestock for the livelihood of the respective residents of each barangay.
The said financial aid will be distributed to all the 367 barangays in the province.
Aside from the Governor, present during the distribution were Board Menbers Leoncio Ola, Cherry Pie Acosta, Maria Angela Sabando, Juan Antonio Alvarez, Cesareo Benedito Jr., Ryan Maminta and Sharon Onda.
2nd District Congresswoman Cyrille Abueg-Zaldivar as well as the officials of the Liga ng mga Barangay-Palawan Chapter witnessed the distribution.
