With the nationwide clearing operations on roadways, finding parking spaces has become a problem.

Puerto Princesa is looking for ways to resolve the matter, and Councilor Matthew Mendoza is open to suggestions.

In a Facebook post, Mendoza said he had suggested that a one lane parking scheme be implemented along the tourism mile.

As for other areas such as the public market, the local government is still looking for the best plan.

He said the council is also drafting an ordinance for public parking alternatives.

But people are free to offer their own ideas and together, they can find the best solutions.

More heads are better than one!

“How do we solve this? Suggested one lane parking along the tourism mile, suggestions welcome for the other areas like the public market and other areas. The Sanggunian is crafting an ordinance for public parking alternatives, lets all work together for the good of the community,” Mendoza posted.
