Be like them! Naga Mayor Nelson Legacion is proud of the mormons in his city
Naga Mayor Nelson Legacion is glad the mormons, or the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, are thriving in his city.
Legacion said on Facebook that he recently congratulated them for the opening of their newly-built four-storey building in Naga.
Moreover, he is proud of their work because they not only help in people’s spiritual nourishment, they also ensure their well-being.
During typhoons and disasters, mormons can be counted on to be among the first to come out and help, he said.
It is his hope that they would would be emulated. Like them, Naga residents can be men for others, he added.
They are serving as good examples!
“MEN FOR OTHERS!
Commended our brothers and sisters in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints yesterday during the opening of their newly constructed four-storey building along Panganiban Ave. They work not only for our spiritual nourishment but also for our social well-being! In times of typhoons and disasters, they are among the first to come out and extend assistance. We too can be men for others! Happy sunday everyone!” Legacion posted.
