Modern, Bigger! Mayor Legacion authorizes Coun. Rañola to start preparation for construction of new Naga City Hospital
Naga City Mayor Nelson Legacion has tasked Councilor Jose “Sonny” Rañola to start the necessary steps for the construction of a new and modern city hospital.
Rañola is a medical doctor by profession. He also co-chairs the Naga City Health Board.
“MODERN, BIGGER AND NEW CITY HOSPITAL! Issued memo authorizing Councilor Jose “Sonny” Rañola, a medical doctor himself, to begin necessary preparations for the establishment of a modern, bigger and new city hospital,” Mayor Legacion said.
Under the said memo, Rañola is mandated to observe and review the operations of Naga City Hospital and Pur Lady of Lourdes Infirmary and provide recommendations for their improvements.
The councilor is also likewise ordered to oversee the development of a strategic and viable plan for the establishment of new Naga City Hospital and barangay health facilities.
He is also authorizes to forward other suggestions in order to promote and implement the city’s health policies and programs.
Legacion’s memorandum was dated July 9.
