Gov. Dolor named League of Provinces of the Philippines’ VP for Luzon South
Newly installed Oriental Mindoro Govnernor Humerlito “Bonz” Dolor has been named Vice President for Luzon South of League of Provinces of the Philippines (LPP).
Governors in the province elected former Supreme Court Justice and now Marinduque Governor Presbitero Velasco as the new LPP President.
“Noong lunes, nagbyahe ako patungong Maynila na ang tanging pakay ay dumalo ng Orientation Course ng DILG-LGA para sa mga Gobernador ng Pilipinas,” Dolor said.
“Sa pagtatapos ng aming gawain ngayon, isang dakilang pagpapahalaga ang aking nakamtan. Maraming salamat po sa lahat ng mga Gobernador ng bansa sa pangunguna ng aming bagong halal na Pangulo, Gov. Presbitero Velasco, na nagtiwala sa akin upang mahirang na Vice President for Luzon South ng League of Provinces of the Philippines,” he added.
Dolor said that it has been an honor to be chosen for the position as he dedicates it for the Mindoreños.
“Ito ay isang karangalang handog ko para sa inyo, mga Kababayang Mindoreño,” he said.
Dolor is currently serving his first term as Governor. He previously served as Oriental Mindoro Vice Governor for nine years.
