Resilient Naga! Mayor Legacion reorganizes city’s disaster and risk reduction council
Newly installed Mayor Nelson Legacion has reorganized the Naga City’s disaster and risk reduction council.
Legacion has issued Executive Order No. 2019-023 which reconstituted the Naga City Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Council (CDRRMC) in a bid to make his city more resilient.
“The move re-establishes the members of CDRRMC with Mayor Nelson Legacion serving as its Chairperson,” the city government said.
According to the EO, the Naga City “aligns itself to the National Government’s policy to adopt a disaster risk reduction and management approach that is holistic, comprehensive, integrated, proactive and participative, especially at the local community level.”
Ernesto Eclamel, CDRRMO, will serve as the council’s executive officer.
Councilor Joselito SA Del Rosario, chairman of committee on public safety, was named one of the members.
