Albay Vice Gov. Grex Lagman shares thoughts about NBA changes

The recent changes in the NBA has Albay Vice Gov. Grex Lagman thinking philosophical thoughts.

In a Facebook post, Lagman could not help but wonder if playing basketball was all about money.

He asked if building a legacy was also important for these basketball players.

According to him, it was okay to be cynical and to believe that money is the major consideration for the NBA players.

But he remembered the movie Jerry Maguire, which also spoke of playing with your heart on the line.

Heart or money? For some, the choice is easy!

“Wow… So pera na lang lage? What about building a legacy? Di ba importante yon? Mas mahalaga yon.

It’s okay to be cynical about what really motivates these multi-millionaire NBA players. Still remember the movie “Jerry Maguire”. Yes, show me the money—but play with your heart on the line.

Kung Toronto fan ako: good riddance Kawhi!,” Lagman posted.
