Naga Mayor Bongat hailed as ‘Kampeon ng mga Kabataan’
Outgoing Naga City Mayor John Bongat has been named champion of the youth by Councilor Elmer Baldomero.
Baldomero, chairman of the Naga City Council for the Welfare and Protection of Children, handed Bongat a Plaque of “Kampeon ng mga Kabataan.”
“THANKS Coun. Elmer S. Baldemoro for this “Kampeon ng mga Kabataan” Plaque given to me today during the opening of the Naga City Children’s Center, that also houses the NC Council for the Welfare and Protection of Children (NCCWPC) Office and the Naga City Youth Development Council (NCYDC) Office,” the outgoing Mayor said.
Baldomero said that under Bongat’s leadership, Naga City has brought home several accolades, including the Most Child-Friendly City.
“His inspiring leadership shall always be the council’s benchmark in the continuing business towards the fulfillment of our collective vision of a truly ‘Maogmang Lugar para sa mga Kaakian’,” the plaque read.
Meanwhile, Bongat also got a visit from actor and Naga native Enchong Dee, one of the Nagueňo Mayoral Awardees.
“VISIT BY our very own Enchong Dee ATM, one of the Nagueňo Mayoral Awardees later today at 4pm at the Avenue Convention Center, Naga City. Congratulations Enchong and thanks for always carrying the good name of Naga in your public engagements. We are truly proud of you,” Bongat said.
