Outgoing Naga Mayor Bongat recognizes his City Youth Mayor counterparts

Naga City Mayor John Bongat has expressed gratitude to all his City Youth Mayor counterparts who worked with him in the past nine years.

The outgoing mayor recognized the youth leaders during yesterday’s 121st Independence Day Celebration at Plaza Quince Martires

“I thanked the City Youth Officials in general and my 10 City Youth Mayor counterparts in particular, who served with me in the 9 years of my mayorship, for their unselfish service and dedication not only in engaging the youth of Naga to participate and be counted but also for adding youth flavor in my full 3 terms of leadership as chief executive of our beloved city,” Bongat said

“Thank you for gracing the rites and for personally receiving my simple token of appreciation for your great service to this city,” he added.

Bongat will step down as Naga City’s local chief executive after three terms in office on June 30.
