Occidental Mindoro’s Unified Leaders big winners in polls
The Unified Leaders of Occidental Mindoro were big winners in the recently concluded elections.
Governor Gene Mendiola, Vice Governor Peter De Jesus Alfaro, and Rep. Josephine Ramirez-Sato all won in their respective races.
Sato expressed her gratitude to all Mindoreños who expressed support to her candidacy.
“Marami pong salamat sa muling tiwala, suporta at pagmamahal,” said Sato.
“Sama-sama nating pagsilbihan ang mga mamamayan ng OkSi. Dahil higit sa lahat, sila dapat ang nanalo sa halalang ito,” she said.
Meanwhile, VG Alfaro said that his journey towards where he is right now wasn’t all that easy.
“My journey has molded me for the greater good and perhaps it was exactly what it meant to be. And I may say it wasn’t an easy journey. It took each and every situation I have encountered to bring me to the now,” Alfaro said.
“The overwhelming votes I garnered with the recently concluded NLE 2019 gave way to continue my public service and being a public trust,” he said.
The Vice Governor vowed to continue providing service to the people of Occidental Mindoro.
“Ako pa rin ay patuloy ninyong magiging daan upang maihatid ang serbisyo publikong sadyang laan sa taumbayan,” he said.
