Legacion elected as Naga City Mayor

Vice Mayor Nelson Legacion has been elected as mayor of Naga City.

Legacion will take over the seat to be vacated by Mayor John Bongat who has been in office for three consecutive terms.

Legacion obtained 41, 591 votes. His runningmate Cecilia De Asis got 59, 461 votes. Both of them ran under Liberal Party.

Meanwhil, 9 out if 10 LP bets won as Naga City councilors. They occupied the first 9 positions.

Outgoing Mayor Bongat also congratulated all the winners of the elections.

“CONGRATULATIONS Cong. Gabby Gabriel Hidalgo Jr Bordado, Mayor-Elect Nelson Legacion, Vice Mayor-Elect Cecilia Veluz De Asis and the reelected and newly elected members of the 13th Sangguniang Panlungsod of Naga,” said Bongat.
