Kaye Revil draws inspiration from VP Leni’s 2013 congressional bid

Masbate congressional candidate Atty. Kaye Revil draws inspiration from Vice President Leni Robredo who won her bid as representative of Camarines Sur despite the lack of political capital.

Robredo ran as CamSur representative in 2013 and defeated Nelly Villafuerte. She won as Vice President in 2016.

“Thank you so much VP @lenirobredo for the inspiration,” Revil said.

“I can’t help my tears from falling when you shared your story that when you ran for Congress you had only 1 mayor & only 27 of 180 plus barangays & that you only did house to house because it was logistically hard to convene people for rallies as you had no venue to use because the incumbent then controlled it against you & you didn’t do caucuses because hiring a sound system for it was expensive & that your opponent who had so much money was into vote buying, but you persevered & won & now the Vice President of the Philippines,” she added.

Revil said that she hopes Masbateños would vote wisely in the coming elections just like the people in Naga.

“I just pray po VP that the people of Masbate will be like your people in Naga who are intelligent enough & can vote wisely & just even make a mockery of the ugly vote buying system,” Revil said.

Revil, running as Masbate 2nd district solon, also urged Masbateños to vote according their conscience.

The incumbent vice governor is running against Rep. Elisa Olga Kho.
