As trade and industry flourish in Palawan, a Sangguniang Panlalawigan member wants safety measures to be put up for the protection of motorists in the province.

The province said that trailer trucks with intermodal containers regularly ply the major thoroughfares of the province.

Corollary thereto, Board Member David Francis Ponce de Leon authored a resolution seeking to protect Palaweño motorists and the riding public.

De Leon said that the recent accident in Puerto Princesa involving trailer truck promted him to file the said resolution.
