Masbate congressional bet Revil feels ‘tired’ but still ‘hopeful’
Tired but still hopeful.
Masbate congressional candidate Atty. Kaye Revil felt a little bit emotional listening to to the song “Buwan” by JK Labajos.
“Sa ilalim ng puting ilaw, sa dilaw na buwan. That song at the plaza made me go emo. Must be feeling so tired & yet still hopeful,” Revil said.
“But it is so hard when all the idealism of the people is gone & you’re still fighting, like the moon radiating amidst the dark that surrounds it,” she added.
The incumbent Vice Governor said that she wants to fight for Masbate and to solve its poverty incidence.
“Ah, Masbate, puso ko binihag mo, ayaw kita masadlak sa dusa kaya ako lumalaban para sayo,” she said.
However, Revil said it’s “frustrating too to fight for people who are “vulnerable to the temptations of money.”
When will this cycle ever end? Only when poverty is no longer the majority in the society. And when will this happen? When government leaders are truly concerned to work on peace & progress of the land. And this can only be when the Lord is in their hearts,” she said.
