Ako na! Legazpi Mayor Noel Rosal builds bridge for students after natl govt fails to fund the project
Students crossing the spillway won’t have to worry about their safety when the rainy season comes
Legazpi Mayor Noel Rosal led the recent groundbreaking for the Arimbay Bagong Ambre two-lane bridge.
In a Facebook post, Rosal said the project has been long delayed and is necessary for the welfare of students in the area.
The local government has decided to built the bridge itself after it failed to be included in the bridge program of the national government, he said.
He sourced the funds from Legazpi’s savings.
The city can no longer wait as safety is his utmost concern, he added.
It is always better to be safe than sorry!
“Just Now….finally the long wait is over..for the safery of the students crossing the old spillway especially in times of heavy rains…..ground breaking ceremony of the delayed arimbay-bagong abre bridge… but this time 2 lane bridge na talaga with sidewalk..tayo na po gagawa nito nawala na talaga sa bridge program ng nat’l govt…kinuha pondo sa savings natin,di na puede maghintay pa…safety is our concern.good am,” Rosal posted.
