Easy payment means more money! Puerto Princesa Councilor Nancy Socrates lauds new e-payment system
Puerto Princesa Councilor Nancy Socrates is very happy about the launch of a new e-payment system in her town.
Socrates, who graced the event, said in a Facebook post that the new system will allow taxpayers to pay their taxes in the most convenient way for them.
They could do it without going to the City Treasurer’s office and just send their payment through Landbank or use their credit cards, debit cards, and Bancnet cards. They can also pay online.
With no long lines and office hours to contend with, this would probably encourage taxpayers to fulfill their obligations. It would also mean more income for Puerto Princesa.
Now that’s a win-win scenario!
“Launching of E-Payment and Investment Forum with the distinguished guests from USAID, Rameses System Inc., Board of Investments, Landbank of the Philippines, Bureau of Local Government Development, Department of Trade & Industry, Investors and colleagues from the City Hall.
E-Payment system would now help our tax payers to pay their taxes at their convenience – they may now be able to pay taxes without going personally to the City Treasurer’s Office. Through Landbank, using their Credit Cards, Debit Cards and Bancnet Cards they can now pay online,” Socrates posted.
