The Palawan Capitol’s veterinary office has intensified its campaign against rabies by offering vaccination of pets in various local government units.

The Provincial Veterinarian’s Office (ProVet) has vaccinated almost 3,000 pets in three municipalities so far, namely, Roxas, Brooke’s Point, and Narra.

“Inuuna natin… pina-prioritize natin ang bakuna depende sa pangangailangan katulad ng sa Roxas at Narra, at saka depende doon sa kanilang kasipagan na magbakuna,” Dr. Benny del Rosario from ProVet said.

The ProVet has conducted Information, Education and Communication or IEC campaign among high schools students in barangays Princess Urduja, Batang-Batang, and Malinao in Narra regarding the effects of rabies in humans.
