Iba ang handa! Oriental Mindoro gov’t gears up for May 2019 polls
The Oriental Mindoro provincial government has started gearing up for the upcoming May 2019 midterm elections.
The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) tackled the concerns of the provincial government and other concerned agencies during the Coordinating Conference and 3rd Provincial Joint Security Control Center (PJSCC) Meeting.
“Kaugnay nito, kinilala at iprinisenta ni COMELEC Provincial Election Supervisor Atty. Maria Aurea C. Bo-Bunao ang mga pangunahing ahensya na kaagapay nila sa implementasyon ng mga ipapatupad na polisiya sa panahon ng halalan,” the province said.
Atty. Bo-Bunao discussed the do’s and don’t’s and concerned groups and individuals during election period.
“Ipinaalala na BAWAL makilahok ang mga empleyado ng gobyerno sa anumang political activities ng kahit na sinong kumakandidato sang-ayon na rin sa ipinatutupad na polisiya ng Civil Service Commission (CSC),” said the province.
Meanwhile, the COMELEC also demonstrated the proper way of voting through Vote Counting Machine (VCM)
They also explained the security features of VCM.
Governor Alfonso “PA” Umali, Jr., PGOrM Executive Assistant IV Dr. Romeo G. Infantado, OrMin PPO PSSupt Thomas Frias Jr. personally tried the VCM which will be used during the upcoming polls.
