Delegates from the UK Embassy led by British Ambassador to the Philippines Daniel Pruce paid a courtesy visit to the Palawan Capitol.

Vice Governor Dennis Socrates, as well as Provincial Administrator Atty. Joshua Bolusa welcomed the delegation, which composed of other UK diplomats.

“Malugod na tinanggap ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ang mga panauhin ng kapitolyo na kinabibilangan nina British Ambassador Daniel Pruce, Consul Martin O’Neill, Second Secretary for Internal Political Martin Norman, Political Attache Kurt Cendana, Vice Consul Joanna Hannah, Pro Consul Emmanuel Rosales, at Political officer Cathe Sarmiento,” the Palawan provincial government said.

The Capitol explained that the visit aimed to bolster the connection between UK and the Palawan provincial government.

Pruce, meanwhile, said that he felt “delighted” to meet the British community residing in Palawan.

“Delighted to meet members of the great British community in #Palawan! Thank you for sharing your experiences of life in this stunningly beautiful part of the #Philippines,” Pruce said on Twitter.
