Oriental Mindoro gets financial aid from Davao City to help Usman-hit families

The province of Oriental Mindoro received a financial aid from Davao City to help the families affected by tropical depression Usman.

Governor Alfonso Umali personally received the check from the representatives of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.

“Tinanggap ni Gobernador Alfonso V. Umali, Jr mula kina COO Central 911 Emmanuel Jaldon at CDRRM Officer Alfredo Baloran (PNP Ret.) kinatawan ni City Mayor Sara Duterte ang tulong pinansiyal mula sa Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Davao,” said the provincial government.

Several local government units were declared under state of calamity due to the flooding caused by TD Usman

“Ang nasabing ayuda ay bunsod ng nagdaang kalamidad na naghatid ng malawakang pagbaha sa malaking bahagi ng lalawigan,” said the province.

“Maliban kay Gob. Umali, malaki rin ang pasasalamat na ipinaabot nina PDRRMO Vinscent Gahol, PSWDO, Zarah C. Magboo, PTO Astronica Salcedo at mga mamamayang MIndoreño sa biyayang ito mula sa Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Davao,” it added.

Davao City government likewise provided financial grant to provinces of Sorsogon and Albay.

The two provinces received P1 million each.
