VP Robredo thanks Angat Buhay partners for their donations to Usman-hit families in Bicol
Vice President Leni Robredo has thanked all the partners of her Angat Buhay program for their donations intended for the victims of Tropical Depression Usman in Bicol Region and other areas.
As of January 7, the Angat Buhay so far provided relief goods such as food packs, school bags, hygiene kits, blankets and bottled water to the following areas:
– Barangay San Francisco, San Jose, and San Roque in Baao
– Barangay Patitinan in Sagñay
– Barangay Iraya and Sta Cruz in Buhi
– Barangay Ombao, San Jose, San Roque, Sagrada, and San Miguel in Bula
– Barangay Mayong, Dapdap, Lourdes and Sugod in Tiwi
CamSur and Albay were two of the provinces that were heavily battered by TD Usman. These provinces were declared under state of calamity.
It has also brought relief aid in Northern Samar, particularly: Barangay Osmeña, San Jose; San Francisco; and Sampaguita in Lope de Vega as wells as in Barangay Mckinley in Catarman.
