Camarines Sur placed under state of calamity amid flooding, landslide incidents
The province of Camarines Sur has been placed under the state of Calamity amid heavy flooding brought by tropical depression Usman.
Governor Miguel Villafuerte said that the Sangguniang Panlalawigan has approved SP Resolution No. 836 s. 2018.
“The Province of Camarines Sur is now under the STATE OF CALAMITY, ” Villafuerte said.
The SP Resolution no. 836 s. 2018 declares “the entire province of Camarines Sur under the state of calamity due to massive flooding, landslide incidents, and other damages brought about by typhoon “Usman.”
Villafuerte also said that the provincial government has already provided relief goods to the affected areas.
“Agad rin po ang pamamahagi ng relief para sa mga apektadong lugar sa probinsya mula kahapon,” said the governor.
“Tuloy-tuloy po ang pagbibigay ayuda sa mga nasalanta ng TD Usman sa iba’t-ibang panig ng probinsya. Every one is working double time, please bear with us. Tulong-tulong po tayo,” he added.
