Marinduque Vice Gov. Romulo Bacorro Jr. thanks local officials for helping stranded passengers
It’s always a good thing when local officials come to each other’s aid, especially during emergencies.
Marinduque Vice Gov. Romulo Bacorro Jr. was filled with gratitude for the captain of Dalahican, Roderick Masinas, and his staff, as well as for Philippine Ports Authority’s Sherwin Chaves for coming to the aid of stranded passengers.
Tropical depression Usman is barreling through the country and causing boat trips and flights to be cancelled.
In a Facebook post, Bacorro said he was glad that officials came to the aid of his fellow Marindukanons who could not travel because of the bad weather.
It’s nice to know that the spirit of goodwill continues!
“Nais ko pong pasalamatan ang Kapitan ng Dalahican Hon. Roderick Masinas sampu ng mga Kagawaran at PPA Sir Sherwin Chaves sa pagtulong sa aking mga kababayang Marindukanon na stranded dahil sa kalamidad. Mabuhay !” Bacorro posted on Facebook.
