Masbate Rep. Lanete pushes for National Science High School in Placer town
Masbate Rep. Scott Lanete is pushing for the establishment of a National Science High School in the municipality of Placer.
Lanete said that there’s a lack of school buildings in the country and that there are limited science and technology education programs being offered.
The solon said that these deficiencies are very apparent in the Municipality of Placer.
“There is a deficiency of school buildings and equipment in both rural and urban areas. The lack of specialized programs has been holding back our country in terms of science and technology education,” said Lanete.
“These limitations are evident all over the Philippines, especially in the Municipality of Placer,” he added.
That is why Lanete is pushing for the establishment of a National Science High School in Placer through the House Bill 1077.
“House Bill No. 1077 seeks to grant the people of Placer immediate access to specialized training and education through the establishment of a National Science High School in the area,” Lanete said.
“It seeks to take a proactive step in granting people their right to quality education,” he added.
