Bicolano lawmakers unite! CamSur Rep. Bordado’s bill seeking to upgrade Bicol Medical Center gets Andaya’s support
Camarines Sur Rep. Gabriel Bordado, Jr. has bagged the commitment of House majority leader Rolando Andaya Jr. to support his bill upgrading the Bicol Medical Center.
Bordado said that it was a “major breakthrough” for the BMC as a team of doctors met with him to seek his help to operationalize 8-storey wards building.
“MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH FOR THE BICOL MEDICAL CENTER (BMC): A team of BMC doctors (actually the guests of Masbate congressman DR. SCOTT LANETE) led by newly appointed OIC-MEDICAL DIRECTOR DR. FRANCISCO SALES III met up with me at the plenary hall of the House of Representatives to seek assistance in operationalizing the 8-STOREY WARDS BUILDING,” Bordado said.
They also met with the to discuss matters “pertaining to MY PENDING BILL AIMED AT INCREASING THE BED CAPACITY OF THE MEDICAL CENTER FROM 500 TO 1000 AND UPGRADING ITS SERVICES & FACILITIES.”
Fortunately, Bordado said that they were also bagged the support of other Bicolano lawmakers Ako Bicol Rep. Rodel Batocabe and an audience with House Majority Leader Andaya.
“ML Andaya made the commitment to prioritize the immediate operationalization of the 8-storey BMC building and the passage of my bill,” Bordado said.
