Solve ang turon at ginatan! Naga Vice Mayor Nelson Legacion helps plant more langka trees

Soon, Naga may have an abundance of langka.

This is because Naga Vice Mayor Nelson Legacion has donated 458 langka seedlings to the Naga View Adventist College.

The seedlings would be grown in three and a half hectares of land, and more are expected to be planted next year, Legacion said on Facebook.

Langka is a popular fruit, and is a favorite addition to merienda favorites turon, ginatan and halo halo.

“DONATED today 458 langka seedlings to Naga View Adventist College. And with members of #TeamNaga in attendance, we planted this morning the same fruit bearing trees in 3 and a half hectares land of NVAC in Panicuason. About the same area will be planted next year per further request of Pastor Lani, school president.

#LegAsis,” Legacion posted.
