Can’t bring a good city down! VP Leni Robredo congratulates Naga for streak of excellence
Naga City is on a roll, and Vice President Leni Robredo is thrilled about it.
Robredo congratulated Naga City for the slew of awards it received for good governance.
Its latest accolades were the Seal of Child Friendly Local Governance, Most Innovative LGU on Children’s Welfare, and the Remarkable Investment for Children Award.
She congratulated Mayor John Bongat, Councilor Elmer Baldemoro and the people of Naga for all their hard work and inspiring leadership.
Robredo’s late husband Jesse reaped awards and accolades when he was mayor of Naga, so we bet that the vice president is happy that the city remains in good hands.
“The winning streak of Naga City for Good Governance Programs continues. Three more awards today:
1. Seal of Child Friendly Local Governance;
2. Most Innovative LGU on Children’s Welfare; and
3. Remarkable Investment for Children Award.
Congratulations Mayor John Bongat, Councilor Elmer S. Baldemoro, and the people of Naga for all the hard work and for your inspiring leadership. Truly, no one can ever put a good city down 🇵🇭,” Robredo posted on Facebook.
