So Clean, So Green! Sorsogon gets award for pushing renewable energy

The Province of Sorsogon has bagged an award for advancing and embracing renewable energy.

Governor Bobet Lee Rodrigueza personally received the Allen S. Quimpo Climate Leadership For Governance Award.

The accolade was bestowed by the Climate Reality Project, non-profit organization founded by Nobel Laureate and former United States of America Vice-President Al Gore.

“To GOD be the glory! Ang atin pong PROBINSYA, kasama ang SORSOGON CITY, ay kabilang sa mga Local Government Units, outstanding Filipino individuals, organizations, networks at initiatives na NAPILI at PINARANGALAN ng ALLEN S. QUIMPO CLIMATE LEADERSHIP FOR GOVERNANCE MEMORIAL AWARD sa ginanap na CLIMATE REALITY LEADERHIP AWARDS for advancing climate action, rejecting coal and promoting renewable energy…,” the Governor said.

The awarding ceremony was held at the National Museum for Natural History last November 5.
