Malacañang declares Nov. 15 as special non-working holiday in Oriental Mindoro
The Malacañan Palace declared November 15 as special non-working holiday in Oriental Mindoro for the province’s 68th founding anniversary.
Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea signed the Proclamation 641 declaring the special non-working holiday in the province.
The Palace said that “it is but fitting and proper that the people of Province of Oriental Mindoro be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.”
Meanwhile, the provincial government has prepared series of activities for the celebration of the founding anniversary.
“Isang gabi ng kasiyahan at tugtugan ang handog ng Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro sa ating lahat!,” Governor Alfonso Umali said.
“Isama na ang pamilya at buong barkada at makisaya kasama ang Rocksteddy at iba bang special guests sa Gabi ng Pagdiriwang ng 68th Founding Anniversary ng ating Lalawigan,” he said.
“Kitakits tayo sa November 15, alas-6 ng gabi sa J.P. Rizal Street sa harap ng Kapitolyo.”
